Things to Do
With over 30 miles of hike and bike trails, 47 acres of parklands, and two horse areas, there’s plenty of recreation opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast. The cottonwood banks and trails along the 71-mile High Line Canal offer a scenic space to walk, ride or relax. Three Pond Park boasts over nine acres of tranquil scenery, equestrian jumps, and a public art sculpture. John Meade Park features fishing piers, a boardwalk through the wetlands, performance area, and a terraced grass amphitheater. The Dahlia Hollow and Woodie Hollow Parks are also beloved by locals.

Schools
Many families are drawn to Cherry Hills Village for the excellent schools in and around the community. The public schools in the Cherry Creek School District are considered among the best in the state. Future U.S. Secretaries of State Madeline Albright and Condoleezza Rice attended the two local private high schools, Kent Denver School and St. Mary’s Academy.
